May Looks

I’ve decided to start doing a monthly look book. I only recently decided to do this and so there won’t be as many outfits in this post as there will be in the future. I have always had a love for fashion and so why not show you what I wear? My style is different depending on what I’m dressing for and 99% of my clothes are affordable items. During lockdown there isn’t much to get dressed for and I honestly spend a lot of time changing from PJs to more PJs, these are the outfits I wore on days I had to leave the house or had the motivation to get dressed. I actually feel a lot better and more productive on the days I didn’t wear PJs and so I am going to try and get dressed every day, even if I have no reason to.

Top – Boohoo, Trousers – Primark, Cardigan – Nasty Gal, Jacket – Top Shop, Boots – New Look

Top – JD Sports, Joggers – New Look

Jumper – New Look, Trousers – Nasty Gal

Top – Primark, Joggers – New Look

Top – Pale Waves merch, Jeans – Primark

Top – Boohoo, Trousers – PrettyLittleThing

I know for a lot of us there isn’t many reasons to get dressed, but it is healthy to engage in productive activities to stop yourself from going crazy during lockdown. I know restrictions have been eased slightly but I have seen so many people having parties, not social distancing and acting like the illness has vanished overnight. People are still dying and by not following guidelines you are being selfish, you are helping the illness spread and are contributing to the deaths. I am trying to stay away from certain issues in my posts but to be silent is to contribute. We all need to be signing petitions and donating what we can to help the issues in America right now, racism is still a huge thing in the world when there is no need for it to be. No-one is really from one place; we all have ancestry that is a mix up of many different countries and so to be racist is truly laughable. Justice for George Floyd. Black Lives Matter.
